Check For Set Up

You need to perform this set up only if either or both of the following 2 items are not on your system:

/usr/sbin/tardist
/usr/etc/LicenseManager

If you are not sure, you'll need to check:

  1. Choose An Icon from the Find toolchest.

  2. In the Find An Icon window, type:

    /usr/sbin/tardist

    If an icon appears in the blue drop pocket as pictured below, tardist is on your system.

  3. Double click in the Find An Icon text area to select the text.

  4. Type:

    /usr/etc/LicenseManager

    If an icon appears in the Find An Icon blue drop pocket, License Manager is on your system.
