Mimimum System Requirements:
  • Windows 95 or higher
  • Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher
  • Pentium I or higher
  • 16M memory
 Recommended System
  • Windows ME or 2k
  • Pentium III 650 or higher
  • 128M+ memory
  • AGP Graphics/Video card


1. Make sure you have Windows Installer 1.1 or higher installed
Users of Windows 2000 and Windows Me should already have Windows Installer.
Windows NT 4
  • service pack 5 or higher
  • Microsoft Windows Installer 1.1


    • Windows 98:
  • Microsoft Windows Installer 1.1


    • Windows 95:
  • Microsoft Windows Installer 1.1

    2. Download OpenWorlds Horizon-WZTM
  • Netscape Users:
    • Netscape treats msi files as text files, and therefore downloads them improperly. To get around this, download the zipped version of the file, then unzip it and run the msi file

  • Internet Explorer users:

    • Download CLICK TO DOWNLOAD

    These files are also available at ftp://ftp.openworlds.com/horizon/HorizonWZ_2.5.0.84.msi and ftp://ftp.openworlds.com/horizon/HorizonWZ_2.5.0.84.zip

    3. Extract and install the files by running the .msi file

    NOTE: If you have performance problems (i.e. Horizon is running slow, but speeds up if you shrink the rendering window), it is probably your OpenGL drivers.
