Company History  Mission  Technology  Management  Careers Opportunities at OpenWorlds OpenWorlds Inc., performs Virtual Reality and 3D graphics and multimedia software development and consulting with an emphasis on Web-based interactive graphics. OpenWorlds is located in Philadelphia in the University City Science Center. Our facilities include numerous SGI graphics workstations and graphics PCs as well as access to various Virtual Reality hardware and computing resources. OpenWorlds has performed world-wide consulting and training services for many companies and has developed several 3D graphics tools. OpenWorlds' clients have included NASA, Lockheed, General Motors, Hughes and Mitsubishi. Company projects have included the creation of a simulation manager for NASA under contract with NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center for virtual training exercises for the International Space stations. Other projects include Web-based 3D simulations using our OpenWorldsTM technology incorporated into next-generation Web products.
